- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Instructions: How to Cook Steak Crock Pot
- Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Place the seasoned steak on top of the onions and garlic.
- In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and dried thyme. Pour the mixture over the steak.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the steak is tender.
- If desired, you can thicken the sauce by mixing 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and stirring it into the crock pot. Cook on high for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
