Instructions: How to Cook Swiss Steak With Brown Gravy
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge the round steak in the flour mixture, coating both sides.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the steak on both sides, then transfer to a baking dish.
